Mira Cho

​

        She is a producer, pianist, composer and music educator who work based in both Korea and the U.S.A. She graduated from Seoul National University - considered the best university in South Korea - with a Classical Piano major. She is currently at Berklee College of Music, with a double major in Contemporary Writing & Production (CWP) and Music Production & Engineering (MP&E) in Boston, U.S.A.

 

        Since her early years, She has had a lot of music concerts and recitals and releasing her classical piano solo album [The Light of The Melody] as a music professional in 2009. As a entrepreneur and music educator, She has established and ran the private music academy in South Korea until recently, and She taught a lot of talented students. Meanwhile, She served as a music scriptwriter and  consultant for Munhwa Broadcasting Corp.(MBC) and Korean broadcasting system(KBS) which are major broadcasting companies in Seoul, Korea.

         Studying at Berklee will allow her to enhance her work as a musician and producer. She has collaborated with a lot of talented musicians and Berklee colleagues on many projects as a producer, composer and arranger. Meanwhile, as a pianist, she is also active. She has participated in the recording of a variety of albums including classical, pop and film music etc.

​

         Recognized for her outstanding production and musical abilities, she won the Quincy Jones Recongnition Award by Quincy Jones Production in LA, Berklee College of Music and CJ E&M. Also, she received the Stacey Hye-Min Park Memorial Award for Women in MP & E by Berklee College of Music. 

 

         She continues to grow as an artist.

Her innate talent and instinct for enjoying music leads her to pursue a career in music. Living her life as a musician is natural to her. Music itself has driven her to study harder and pursue a professional career in music
